Rattlesnake Avoidance Clinic
from Katie Clawson |
Hello all, Spring is just around the corner and so are the snakes coming out from hibernation. The date has been decided for Aussie rescue's fundraiser with natural solutions rattle snake avoidance clinic. The date is Sunday, March 18th, 2012. Below is the application that needs to be filled out and brought back with you or emailed back to me 1 day prior to the clinic. You must call me to make a scheduled appointment (Time) prior to the date. To schedule your time please call me at 661-943-1763 The clinic is going to be located in The West part of the Lancaster area. The directions are from the LA or Orange County area take a fwy that eventually takes you to the 5 fwy heading north. At the 14 fwy split take the 14 fwy north toward the Palmdale /Lancaster area. Exit on ave "M" Go left over the fwy heading west for almost 8 miles until the road ends. There will be a dirt road that continues if you choose to take it or you can walk to the sight where the snakes will be this is a short walk you can park your car on the pavement. There will be signs and people looking for you at the end of the paved road. If you feel like coming earlier than you appointment you can go for a hike prior or after if you so inclined. This is a real nice area for hikers. Please call and make an appointment soon as possible since the clinic will fill to capacity quickly. Don't wait until the snakes are out and then be sorry since there is a shortage of people doing clinics this year. The snakes will be in there natural setting and there will be a Mojave green and an adult rattler as well as a baby rattler that is indigenous to our area. Don't let you or your dog be a sad statistic and get bit by a snake, have your dogs trained by professionals that know what they are doing the earlier the better. .
