Using positive and empathetic methods to communicate with your doggy partner, Palika instructs with finesse and originality. She takes a slower means to the ends, with a sort of foundation training (think addition graduating calculus), rather than demanding the final product. Dogs trained using her methods will be more likely to be solid in their responses, which are simply refined rather than compulsory. She does an excellent job of explaining what goes on during obedience trials and the sort, and the sprinkling of adorable Aussie puppy photos without make this one a must-have.
