Transport

Transporting Aussies is a great way to offer your services and helps tremendously when the need arises. Requirements for transport: When dog(s) is being "handed off" to another transporter, shelter, or rescue organization, all paper work must be handed over before transferring the dog. Dog(s) should have time in between "hand offs" to potty, drink, and walk a bit. When receiving or handing off a dog, the transporter must contact the coordinator to let them know the hand off has been completed. If running ahead or behind scheduled times, transporters should advise the coordinator and whoever will be next to receive the dog to let them know what's going on. Transporters should carry water, bowl, extra leash, and collar, dog litter bags and use accordingly.

By providing transport services as a volunteer, you understand and agree that you are volunteering your time and services to be an Aussie Rescue SoCal, Inc. volunteer at no cost to Aussie Rescue SoCal, Inc. and you will not be compensated for either your time or services by Aussie Rescue SoCal, Inc. You also understand that you may be removed from this position at any time in their sole discretion for any reason or no reason.
